Let’s check each option,

1) + and ÷

→ (18 ÷ 9) + 3 × 5 = 45 will become

→ (18 + 9) ÷ 3 × 5 = 45 = 45 .

Hence true.

2) 3 and 9

→ (18 ÷ 9) + 3 × 5 = 45 will become

→ (18 ÷ 3) + 9 × 5 = 51 ≠ 45.

Hence incorrect.

3) 18 and 5

→ (18 ÷ 9) + 3 × 5 = 45 will become

→ (5 ÷ 3) + 3 × 18 = 55(2/3) ≠ 45.

Hence incorrect.

4) × and ÷

→ (18 ÷ 9) + 3 × 5 = 45 will become

→ (18 × 9) + 3 ÷ 5 = 162 + 0.6

→ 162.6 ≠ 45
